Notable Features
Fountain of Faith: A monumental bronze sculpture by Swedish artist Carl Milles, featuring 37 life-sized figures representing individuals he knew, symbolizing the afterlife and human relationships. Completed in 1952, its dedication drew approximately 25,000 attendees. The Sun Singer: Another work by Milles, this 15-foot statue depicts the Greek god Apollo, accompanied by Pegasus and the nine Muses. It is one of three such statues worldwide.
Four Chaplains Memorial: A modernist sculpture by Constantino Nivola, honoring four U.S. Army chaplains who sacrificed their lives during the sinking of the SS Dorchester in 1943. The piece symbolizes unity and selflessness.
